Job description
Role Overview
In this position, you will manage the day-to-day upkeep, repairs, and readiness of designated facilities, spaces, and essential systems to ensure alignment with mission requirements, safety protocols, and operational continuity. Your role involves collaborating with multiple stakeholders to execute maintenance schedules, assess equipment serviceability, and aid emergency response efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise both preventive and corrective maintenance activities for specific spaces and infrastructure.
- Ensure all maintenance complies with relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Track the performance and maintenance records of Building and Infrastructure systems.
- Coordinate with various parties to synchronize maintenance tasks with operational and mission priorities.
- Assist units with financial and procurement processes associated with maintenance and minor construction works.
- Oversee work orders and evaluate the quality of repairs, escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintain the operational functionality of critical facilities supporting assigned departments during disruptions.
- Keep precise records of assets and resources and facilitate audit processes.
- Promote resource optimization by reallocating underutilized assets.

- Ensuring contractors deliver efficient, cost-effective, and regulatory-compliant services consistently.
- Responding rapidly and effectively to unexpected infrastructure failures that could jeopardize mission continuation.
Candidate Profile
- Educational background in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Facility Management, or related disciplines.
- Preferably at least three years of experience in facilities management, construction, or infrastructure operations, although applicants without experience may be considered.
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong ability to detect potential non-compliances in maintenance tasks and infrastructure conditions.
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and communication with the capability to influence diverse organizational levels.
- Adaptable to changes, capable of prioritizing competing demands, and motivated to implement process enhancements within a dynamic operational setting.
