Role Overview
As a Manager - Digital Marketing, you will be a key driver of execution and revenue growth within our autonomous, geographically focused unit. This role goes beyond typical tasks, seeking a growth strategist who applies data, engineering, and fundamental principles to marketing and platform operations.
Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, you will collaborate closely with various teams to manage localized marketing funnels, enhance performance metrics, and ensure platform efficiency to reach aggressive growth and profitability goals.
Primary Responsibilities
- Apply first-principles thinking to dissect and manage the performance funnel, activating users from acquisition through repeat engagement.
- Lead planning, execution, and scaling of on-app promotions, digital campaigns, and sales events with precision.
- Continuously optimize live campaigns daily by analyzing conversion rates, traffic data, and margin signals to adjust strategies programmatically.
- Oversee commercial, pricing, and profit & loss metrics ensuring regional growth remains competitive and financially sound.
- Coordinate with central teams for product, branding, and procurement to negotiate commercial terms, funding, and localized product assortments.
- Drive promotion of high-margin products and initiatives to enhance regional contribution.
- Manage comprehensive data tracking of performance trends, cohort behaviors, and operational gaps.
- Convert consumer and market analytics into actionable assortment and campaign targeting decisions.
- Maintain system stability by identifying and resolving operational, pricing, or supply chain issues.
- Design and implement rapid A/B tests with statistical rigor to validate changes and optimize activation.
- Collaborate with supply chain and internal departments to synchronize demand signals with inventory levels.
- Manage a well-structured marketing calendar aligned with larger business events and priorities.
Candidate Profile
- Educational Background: B.Tech or B.E. degree from IIT or other premier engineering institutes, or an equivalent quantitative analytical qualification.
- Experience: Between 2 to 5 years in fast-paced sectors such as e-commerce, quick commerce, consumer technology, or business/data analytics.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong logical and structured thinking, with a genuine curiosity to understand platform mechanics and user behaviors.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and familiarity with SQL, business intelligence visualization tools like Tableau or Looker, and automation workflows.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to drive alignment amongst brand, supply chain, and product teams.
- Ownership and Resilience: Demonstrated capability to build processes from the ground up and thrive in a high-velocity, multitasking environment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in regional or category management within quick commerce, marketplaces, or hyper-growth consumer applications; knowledge of app CMS platforms, digital promotion tools, and inventory optimization.
