Overview

An established alternative asset management firm is expanding its management-company finance operations and is seeking a senior finance leader. This newly created executive role will be responsible for managing the economic aspects of the platform and developing the finance team to support growth.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the management-company profit and loss statement.
Manage fee economics including management fees, fee-related earnings, and performance fees.
Lead controllership, treasury functions, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A).

Qualifications and Skills

More than 15 years of progressive finance experience within credit, private equity, hedge funds, or multi-strategy alternative asset management firms.
Comprehensive expertise in management-company financials and asset management economics, with strong FP&A capabilities.
Proven track record managing complex, multi-entity organizations involving GAAP compliance, internal controls, and external audits.
Experience in building or expanding a finance team during organizational growth.
Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or an MBA are preferred.
