Primary Duties

• Perform server setup and configuration to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
• Apply security patches and updates regularly to maintain system integrity.
• Identify and resolve bugs through troubleshooting efforts.
• Respond promptly to emergency issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine server monitoring to track performance and availability.
• Manage backup and restore procedures to safeguard data.
• Administer user accounts and permissions, ensuring proper access controls.

• Oversee continuous 24/7 server monitoring and alerts to promptly address any incidents.

Work Schedule

• Engage in part-time duties requiring approximately 7 hours weekly (server setup, security patches, bug fixes, emergency resolution).
• Additional part-time responsibilities demanding around 25 hours weekly (routine monitoring, backup management, user administration, performance tuning).
• Full-time position involving continual tasks with full-time working hours (24/7 monitoring, firewall hardening, disaster recovery, compliance reporting).
