Maintenance Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to work across two closely located residential facilities, Dolphin Lane and Daisy Vale House, both providing support for males and females with learning disabilities and autism. This full-time position involves maintaining a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents and staff by ensuring all maintenance needs and safety standards are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain building and site conditions to guarantee a safe, inviting atmosphere for residents and personnel.
• Identify, report, and promptly resolve maintenance and safety concerns to facilitate smooth operations.
• Coordinate with local contractors, providing them with instructions and oversight to complete preventive and planned maintenance effectively.
• Keep detailed and accurate records of inspections and certifications to comply with statutory and quality regulations.
• Collaborate with the Home Manager to drive continuous improvements in the environment and services offered.

Compensation and Work Schedule

The role offers a pay rate of £13.45 per hour for a 40-hour workweek conducted Monday to Friday between 8 AM and 4 PM.
