Role Overview

As a Maintenance Technician based in Bradford and nearby areas, you will play a key role sustaining the functionality, safety, and welcoming appearance of Tesco stores. You will operate within a skilled team tasked with both planned and reactive maintenance across various systems and equipment, ensuring smooth daily operations and an optimal shopping environment for customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively coordinate repairs by liaising confidently with external contractors.
• Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues, emphasizing quality service delivery.
• Maintain high energy and multitasking ability while performing duties efficiently.
• Support management by upkeeping store equipment and facilities to ensure continuous operation.
• Minimize disturbances to customers during repair activities through thoughtful scheduling and communication.
• Execute day-to-day maintenance and general upkeep of store and property infrastructure.
• Utilize mobile devices such as phones and tablets to manage daily work schedules and communication.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Relevant technical qualification such as ONC or equivalent.
• Valid full driving license.
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety regulations and practices.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with Office 365 applications.
• Capability to complete technical training modules for continuous upskilling.
• Comfortable with digital tools for managing daily tasks including tablets and emails.
