Position Overview
We are recruiting a Machine Learning Engineer for a contract role that can be fulfilled remotely from anywhere. The position involves designing, constructing, and launching AI models essential for strategic business decision-making. The engineer will create scalable machine learning pipelines and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate models seamlessly into production environments. Responsibilities also include optimizing model performance, guaranteeing data integrity, and upholding model governance standards.
Key Duties
- Design, develop, and implement machine learning models to address complex business challenges.
- Create and maintain scalable pipelines to support the entire model lifecycle.
- Work closely with data engineers and software developers to deploy models into live systems.
- Continuously monitor model effectiveness, troubleshoot problems, and enhance performance.
- Ensure compliance with data governance rules and security protocols throughout model development.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and validating model accuracy.
- Familiarity with cloud computing services like AWS, GCP, or Azure for deploying machine learning solutions.
- Understanding of MLOps methodology and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines related to ML models.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving capability and adaptability to dynamic work environments.
