Overview
Lowe's seeks a Learning Consultant focused on technology to support and enhance enterprise learning programs for associates. The role centers on aligning learning initiatives with Lowe's leadership principles and strategic business objectives to foster organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the delivery of learning strategies and programs organization-wide, ensuring projects are completed within scope and timeline.
- Conduct training needs assessments to improve manager and associate effectiveness in meeting company goals.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate the impact of learning programs.
- Collaborate with leaders, HR business partners, vendors, and stakeholders to develop learning solutions.
- Manage multiple learning projects and identify interdependencies between programs.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers to drive informed business decisions.
- Develop scalable, repeatable learning plans balancing quality, capability, capacity, and costs.
- Advise and consult on learning development processes to ensure effective delivery of programs and initiatives.
- Promote a culture of collaborative learning involving employees, managers, and support teams to build organizational skills.
- Define measurement strategies to link learning outcomes directly to business metrics.
- Lead project teams by setting clear objectives, providing feedback, fostering communication, and monitoring progress.
- Design, develop, and implement blended learning solutions addressing root causes to enhance business performance.
- Facilitate training sessions or coordinate facilitators as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Learning, Leadership, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in learning delivery and/or instructional design, preferably within large multi-state or global companies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, MBA, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years progressive HR experience, notably in talent management functions such as leadership development, training, instructional design, and performance management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects successfully under time, budget, and political constraints.
- Familiarity with retail industry dynamics.
- Experience employing varied design modalities including e-learning, classroom, virtual, and gamification.
- Knowledge of instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE and SAM.
- Training facilitation experience.
- Relevant industry certifications like PMP, PHR, or CPT.
