As a Lead Threat Intelligence Analyst at CPX, you will apply your investigative and analytical capabilities to process large volumes of data into clear, actionable intelligence. This role involves conducting research, drafting analytic reports, identifying intelligence weaknesses, and making recommendations aligned with our mission.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and disseminate threat intelligence from various sources to support informed decision-making.
• Oversee threat intelligence platforms, ensuring the quality and relevance of feed sources.
• Produce detailed intelligence materials including assessments, briefings, and recommendations.
• Continuously develop and refine cyber threat intelligence processes and operations for improved effectiveness.
• Create and validate reporting templates as well as threat intelligence platform procedures.
• Define and adapt corporate intelligence requirements in collaboration with key stakeholders based on evolving business needs and technological changes.
• Distribute intelligence products such as threat alerts and reports to relevant audiences.
• Contribute intelligence insights to situational awareness efforts by contextualizing current or emerging cyber threats within business frameworks.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to characterize attacks, identify threat actor motives and capabilities.
• Drive innovation at the Threat Intelligence Center, enhancing tools and workflows.
• Explore emerging developments in threat intelligence and mentor junior analysts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Expert understanding and application of the intelligence lifecycle and analytical methodologies.
• Proficiency in open-source intelligence tools and techniques.
• Advanced skills in intelligence collection, production, analytic writing, and the use of structured analytic frameworks.
• Training or expertise in critical thinking, cyber intelligence, and counterintelligence.
• Experience managing threat intelligence platforms and understanding the cyber threat landscape thoroughly.
• Capability to articulate and defend analytic conclusions amidst challenges.
• Formal intelligence analysis education or practical experience in intelligence roles.
• Strong communication skills with an ability to effectively facilitate discussions and collaborate.
• Demonstrated ability to rapidly acquire and apply analytical knowledge with meticulous attention to detail.
• Deep knowledge of cyber-attack vectors, malware analysis, cybercrime detection, and methodologies.
• Experience within large security operations environments such as corporations, government, or military sectors.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence analytic software and cyber threat models like the kill chain and diamond model.

Additional Information

Experience: A minimum of 8 years working as a cyber threat analyst, researcher, or intelligence analyst is required.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
