Job description
Position Overview
This role is designed for an experienced para-professional working with minimal supervision in the Laboratory Technician area. It requires the application of specialized technical skills and knowledge tailored to laboratory procedures and standards.
Key Duties
- Execute a range of technical laboratory procedures, including preparation of routine solutions and reagents and carrying out standard reactions.
- Accurately make and record observational data and perform basic calculations.
- Collect and organize data necessary for evaluations.
- Support laboratory functions by handling supplies and equipment, assembling and disassembling apparatus, and managing glassware cleaning and storage.
- Maintain technical and administrative records according to company and regulatory guidelines to ensure quality and precision.
- Potentially analyze chemical compounds and oversee the management of the corporate compound inventory.
- Carry out technical processes in areas such as Production, Research & Development, Quality Control/Assurance, and Compliance/Environmental sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a Technical Diploma or equivalent approximately 12 years of education.
- At least one year of relevant experience in a laboratory role or similar environment.
