Key Duties

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness by washing dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and sanitising kitchen surfaces, equipment, and floors following strict health and safety protocols.
• Assist with fundamental food preparation, such as cutting vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling simple menu items as instructed by the kitchen chefs.
• Support stock management by organising kitchen ingredients, unpacking deliveries, and ensuring proper storage of supplies.

Candidate Requirements

• No prior kitchen experience necessary; however, experience in kitchen settings, porter roles, or catering is advantageous.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic with capability to carry out physically demanding activities including lifting, carrying, and extended standing periods.
• Effective team player with solid communication skills.
• Willingness and flexibility to work shifts that may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
