Role Overview
As a Kitchen Porter, you will be a vital support to the kitchen team, ensuring impeccable food hygiene standards are maintained. You will manage dishwashing responsibilities, maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, and assist with basic food prep tasks. Your positive disposition, team collaboration skills, and eagerness to develop will be key to thriving in this dynamic role.
Responsibilities
- Manage the wash-up area ensuring all dishes and utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workspaces as per the required standards.
- Support the kitchen team with simple food preparation tasks when needed.
- Follow cleaning schedules diligently to help maintain kitchen hygiene and safety.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to keep kitchen operations running smoothly.
- Engage courteously with team members and customers, demonstrating confidence in interactions.
