About the Role
The Kitchen Administrator serves as a primary liaison for client communications, responding to inquiries via phone and email, and managing data entry and retrieval within computer systems. This role involves updating records, files, and reservations while ensuring accurate handling of guest requests. It requires proficiency in operating common office equipment and preparing documents with word processing and database software. The administrator also transmits information through digital and traditional means, performing proofreading and editing duties to maintain accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as point of contact for clients, handle requests and inquiries professionally.
- Input and retrieve information from computer databases and reservation systems.
- Operate standard office machinery apart from computers.
- Create and edit various documents including letters, memos, and presentations using relevant software.
- Send and receive information through computers, mail, or fax while ensuring content accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain confidentiality, adhere to company policies, and ensure professional personal appearance and uniform standards.
- Welcome guests courteously, anticipate their service needs, assist those with disabilities, and express genuine gratitude to guests.
- Use professional communication standards in verbal and written interactions including proper telephone etiquette.
- Develop positive working relationships with colleagues, support team objectives, and respond empathetically to co-worker concerns.
- Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management promptly.
- Physically handle objects up to 10 pounds as part of job duties.
- Carry out additional reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors.
