Junior Visual Designer

Role Summary

The position of Junior Visual Designer offers a part-time remote opportunity to contribute to the creation of visual elements for both digital and print media. The role encompasses assisting in designing graphics for websites, social media platforms, presentations, and various marketing campaigns, as well as modifying existing visuals to suit diverse formats and delivery channels.

Key Responsibilities

This role includes collaborating closely with senior design staff and marketing personnel to uphold brand visual standards, preparing artwork for production or digital deployment, and iterating designs based on feedback. Additionally, the Junior Visual Designer may engage in generating layout concepts, simple user interface components, and visual themes that enhance brand messaging and user interaction.

Required Qualifications

• Solid foundational skills in Visual and Graphic Design, enabling the creation of clear and compelling visual content.
• Experience or a keen interest in Branding, with the capability to consistently apply brand identity across various media.
• Ability to create and adjust graphics suited for both digital and print environments, including icons, banners, and promotional materials.
• Basic knowledge of Web Design principles, such as layout composition, typography, color theory, and responsive design.
• Proficiency in widely used design software packages like Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, or comparable tools.
• Strong attention to detail, an excellent visual eye, and openness to feedback for iterative improvements.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, capable of supporting smooth remote teamwork.
• Educational background or experience in Design, Visual Communication, or related fields is advantageous; presence of a portfolio or prior internship/freelance design work is beneficial.
