Role Overview

Join Sunst Studio as a Junior Spatial Designer / 3D Designer where you will play a crucial part in transforming concepts into immersive spatial environments. Working under the guidance of Spatial Designers and Creative Directors, you will develop 3D concepts that manifest brand narratives into tangible spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed and atmospheric 3D visualizations and models to clearly present design intentions.
• Convert sketches, inspiration sources, and initial ideas into compelling spatial concepts.
• Design believable and thoughtfully crafted environments, furniture, and spatial systems.
• Enhance creative output and workflow using AI-assisted visualization tools.
• Evolve designs from concept to coherent spatial proposals with balanced composition, scale, and detail.
• Adjust layouts, furniture, and architectural details while preserving a unified design language.
• Maintain practical feasibility alongside creative ambition ensuring core ideas remain intact.
• Collaborate closely with design and production teams across all design phases.
• Participate in client presentations, prepare technical drawings, and support design documentation.
• Assist in site surveys, prototype development, and oversee on-site implementation to ensure fidelity to design vision.

Candidate Profile

• 1 to 3 years of experience in spatial, architectural, interior, or experiential design.
• Educational background in Architecture, Interior Design, Spatial Design, Scenography, or a related field.
• Portfolio showcasing strong skills in composition, atmosphere creation, and spatial storytelling.
• Proficiency with SketchUp and Enscape; knowledge of Rhino and SketchUp Layout is advantageous.
• Enthusiastic about new technologies, actively employing AI tools like Midjourney, ChatGPT, or Runway in workflows.
• Fundamental understanding of materials, proportions, construction principles, and modular design.
• Detail-focused, inquisitive, and adept at managing both creative concepts and technical execution.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are beneficial but not required.
