Junior Functional Tester – Banking Domain (Finacle)

Overview

We are seeking a Junior Functional Tester with expertise in the banking domain, specifically with Finacle, to join our team in Toronto, ON for an onsite contract position lasting 12 months or more. Candidates should have at least three years of relevant experience and a strong understanding of banking applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute functional testing on banking software applications.
• Conduct thorough data validation, transactional reconciliation, and statement verification tasks.
• Interpret and evaluate both functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Provide production support, including managing incidents, triaging issues, and resolving defects.
• Collaborate with Agile and DevOps teams to facilitate smooth and successful production releases.
• Assist in the development and upkeep of Liquidity Management solutions built on the Finacle platform.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of two years of professional experience in the banking or financial services sector.
• In-depth knowledge of Global Account Transfers and Liquidity Management processes.
• Proven functional testing experience.
• Hands-on expertise with the Finacle banking software suite.
• Strong skills in data validation, reconciliation, and statement verification techniques.
• Ability to analyze business needs and provide effective production issue support.
• Experience working within Agile methodology frameworks.

Additional Information

Position requires onsite presence at the Toronto, Ontario location. This is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months, with potential extension.
