About the Role

Business Angel Club Napoli in Berlin, Germany is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join their team in a full-time onsite position. This entry-level role is tailored to recent graduates or those new to the field who have a keen interest in data analysis and business intelligence. The position involves supporting data management, generating insightful reports, and contributing to data-driven decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, clean, verify, and systematically organize data derived from diverse sources to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Examine datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that inform business strategies.
• Generate routine reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders and leadership.
• Help develop and sustain business intelligence reports and relevant performance metrics.
• Provide analytical insights and recommendations to support informed decisions across departments.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor ongoing business performance.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis supporting various operational, financial, marketing, and strategic functions.
• Work collaboratively with cross-departmental teams to comprehend reporting needs and business requirements.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with data governance protocols.
• Assist in automating reporting processes and enhance data collection and reporting workflows.
• Document data sources, methods, and reporting practices thoroughly.
• Keep abreast of emerging data analytics tools, methodologies, and industry standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Fundamental understanding of data analysis, statistics, and reporting techniques.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel including advanced features such as formulas, pivot tables, and charting.
• Basic familiarity with SQL for data querying and extraction is preferred.
• Exposure to data visualization software like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Looker Studio is advantageous.
• Introductory knowledge of programming languages or analytics tools such as Python or R is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, critical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and dedication to maintaining data accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly present analysis findings.
• Capability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines within a dynamic environment.
• Preferably holds a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
