Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior Brand Designer who will define how our brand is presented across various platforms, including announcements of new features and sales presentations. This position suits a designer early in their career, strong in design principles, and enthusiastic about helping develop a scalable design system. You will collaborate closely with our lead designer on a broad spectrum of projects such as social media content, product launch campaigns, presentations, one-pagers, and short-format videos.
Key Responsibilities
- Create designs for diverse formats, adapting to requirements such as competitive battle cards, all-hands decks, and event one-pagers.
- Develop reusable, brand-consistent templates and ready-to-use assets (social graphics, slide layouts, one-pagers, email headers) that empower sales, marketing, and partnership teams to operate independently of design assistance for routine needs.
- Produce short-form, social-first video content (for LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, TikTok) incorporating motion effects, text animations, and product footage consistent with our brand identity.
- Manage your own workflow and timelines, ensuring delivery of organized, production-ready files suitable for further use.
- Engage with cross-functional collaborators to build trust by consistently delivering prompt, high-quality creative assets.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 2-3 years of design experience (including internships) across in-house, agency, or freelance roles.
- Maintain a portfolio demonstrating clean, refined work in digital and print mediums such as social content, slide decks, and one-pagers.
- Proficient with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Have experience crafting social videos or simple motion graphics and able to explain your creative process.
- Work swiftly without compromising quality and discern when deliverables are for internal or external audiences.
- Thrive in a fast-moving environment and communicate proactively when additional input or support is needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with After Effects, Premiere, Jitter.io, or CapCut for social media video editing and light motion effects.
- Keen awareness of social content trends and effective engagement strategies.
- Experience with B2B SaaS or fintech branding contexts.
Work Location & Schedule
This position is based in New York City at our Soho office, requiring four days per week onsite.
Benefits
- Competitive salary with equity options.
- Unlimited paid time off.
- Full employer coverage of monthly health insurance premiums including medical, dental, and vision.
- Provided lunch through Sharebite and dinner on late office days.
- Up to 12 weeks of parental leave.
- Tax-free commuter and parking benefits.
- Optional life, hospital, critical illness, and accident insurance plans.
- Access to Employee Assistance Program (Rightway).
- Complimentary One Medical membership.
- 401(k) retirement plan.
Diversity & Inclusion
Tabs is committed to equal opportunity employment, embracing diversity and inclusiveness regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristics. Our goal is to foster a workplace where everyone can thrive, contribute meaningfully, and feel respected.
Compensation
The expected salary range for this role is between $74,880 and $102,960 annually.
