Role Overview

This position is for a Senior Developer or Senior Software Engineer based in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java and Angular development, contributing to the design, development, testing, and deployment of robust Java applications.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Hands-on development using core Java, REST APIs, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Working knowledge of Hibernate, exception handling, and effective logging practices.
• Experience with front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5.
• Familiarity with MVC and MVP design patterns, REST API implementation, push notifications, and Material Design principles.
• Understanding object-oriented programming concepts in Java and optionally J2EE and Java 8.
• Database proficiency with both SQL (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Competence in version control systems and adherence to coding standards, including batch processing.
• Strong session management, debugging, and exception handling skills for troubleshooting runtime environment configurations and performance optimization.
• Development of API services such as location, maps, and notifications.
• Preferred experience in UI/UX design and development for creating rich and responsive user interfaces.
