Position Overview

Precision Resource Canada in Cambridge, Ontario, invites mechanically skilled individuals with a minimum of one year of janitorial experience in a manufacturing setting to apply for a full-time janitor role. This opportunity is ideal for candidates seeking a stable position within the manufacturing sector.

Work Schedule and Compensation

This is a permanent role on the afternoon shift, running Monday through Thursday from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM. Employees working this shift receive a 10% premium added to their pay.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility
• Operate scrubbers and related cleaning equipment
• Adhere to Safety Data Sheet (SDS) guidelines for chemical usage
• Sweep and mop flooring areas regularly
• Maintain janitorial supplies through inventory tracking and restocking
• Clean walls, sinks, tables, and commonly used spaces
• Dispose of garage waste, recycling materials, and cardboard appropriately
• Seasonally manage snow removal and sidewalk/patio maintenance using shoveling, snow blowing, and salting
• Complete required documentation and paperwork accurately
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace environment consistent with company standards
• Participate actively in all mandatory company training sessions
• Perform additional duties as assigned within the manufacturing scope

Educational and Professional Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with strong English comprehension
• Mechanical aptitude paired with a strong work ethic
• At least one year of janitorial experience within a manufacturing environment
