Job Details

• Position: Full-time Janitor
• Working Days: Sunday through Thursday
• Hourly Wage: $15
• Payment Frequency: Weekly

Role Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning and upkeep of assigned indoor areas within buildings or client locations.
• Keep all floor surfaces clean by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming as needed.
• Adhere strictly to chemical cleaner and power equipment usage procedures to avoid damage to floors or objects.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance zones.
• Dispose of trash correctly, including using compactors when applicable.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using proper materials and tools.
• Conduct spot cleaning on carpets and assist with deep cleaning methods like carpet extraction and shampooing.
• Replenish supplies such as paper products and sanitary items regularly.
• Follow an established housekeeping schedule to meet client expectations.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning machinery including floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by job requirements or customer needs.

Essential Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six months’ experience in janitorial work.
• Willingness to receive on-the-job training.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience.
• Knowledge of custodial procedures and commercial cleaning standards.
• Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing.
• Background in industrial cleaning or facility maintenance is a plus.
