Our deep industry knowledge supports operational excellence, secures your IT investments for the future, and sustains competitive advantages in the dynamic finance sector.

Role Overview

The IT Change Manager oversees and facilitates the complete Change Management lifecycle across the company, ensuring all IT modifications—from routine to emergency—are properly assessed, authorized, implemented, and reviewed with controlled risk management. This pivotal position safeguards IT service stability by preventing unauthorized or inadequately planned changes that could disrupt business functions. Acting as a strategic consultant and process owner, the role collaborates closely with technical teams, business units, and senior executives to maintain a balance between agility and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end Change Management process aligned with ITIL standards and internal policies.
  • Lead Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Emergency CAB meetings, ensuring thorough risk evaluation and change approvals.
  • Analyze and decide on Requests for Change (RFC), considering risk, impact, and resource constraints.
  • Maintain and coordinate the Forward Schedule of Change (FSC) with operational teams to plan change windows effectively.
  • Evaluate risk and business impact of changes, ensuring mitigation and rollback plans are established.
  • Detect conflicts, dependencies, and clashes among simultaneous changes across infrastructure, applications, and services.
  • Ensure all changes comply with organizational risk thresholds and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate approved changes and their effects clearly and promptly to all stakeholders.
  • Serve as primary liaison between technical and business teams during planned changes and upgrades.
  • Create detailed Change Management reports and post-implementation reviews for leadership insights.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously enhance Change Management policies, processes, and documentation templates.
  • Guarantee that all changes are properly documented, auditable, and adhere to compliance obligations.
  • Identify and address unauthorized changes to enforce process adherence.
  • Collaborate with Incident and Problem Management teams to detect change-related issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Administer and optimize Change Management modules in ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira SM, or BMC Remedy.
  • Produce KPI dashboards, trend analyses, and SLA performance reports for senior management.
  • Promote automation and adoption of pre-approved and standard change models to enhance operational agility.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in IT Service Management, including at least 2 years focused on Change Management.
  • Mandatory ITIL Foundation certification (v3 or v4); advanced ITIL Change Management Practitioner or Managing Professional certifications highly preferred.
  • Proven experience leading CAB meetings and handling complex, high-risk change processes.
  • Expertise with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or BMC Remedy.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments encompassing infrastructure, cloud, networking, and applications.
  • Ability to balance governance requirements with business agility in fast-paced settings.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • ITIL 4 Managing Professional or Strategic Leader certification is advantageous.
  • Experience with Change Enablement in DevOps or CI/CD environments.
  • Familiarity with release management, deployment pipelines, and DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Knowledge of standards like ISO 20000, SOX, ISO 27001, or COBIT frameworks.
  • Project Management credentials such as PMP or PRINCE2 are a plus.
