Role Summary
This full-time, on-site position in Singapore is responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of the organization’s IT assets. The role covers hardware and software inventory control, assignment tracking, policy and licensing compliance, and coordination of procurement, receipt, rollout, movement, and retirement of assets within budget and process guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
The IT Asset Administrator will partner with IT, finance, and operations teams to keep asset records accurate, support audits, improve asset utilization, and produce recurring reports on inventory, status, and usage. The role also includes managing service requests related to assets, assisting with vendor communication, and helping refine and strengthen asset management workflows.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Hands-on experience or strong capability in tracking IT assets, managing inventories, and handling the full lifecycle of hardware and software.
- Comfort using asset management systems, spreadsheets, and documentation tools to maintain precise records and reports.
- Working knowledge of software licensing, compliance obligations, and basic IT infrastructure principles.
- Strong attention to detail, good organization, and the ability to juggle several asset-related priorities at once.
- Clear communication and teamwork skills for working with IT, finance, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Previous exposure to IT asset administration, IT support, or similar operational roles is an advantage.
- A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline is helpful.
- Must be able to work on-site in Singapore and occasionally support after-hours activities during asset rollouts or audits.
