With assets exceeding 282ac2.4 billion under management in Toro European CLOs, the Leveraged Finance Team is expanding and seeks to add an Investment Analyst in their London office.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Investment Analyst will support investment decisions and portfolio oversight by working closely with senior colleagues in London and Luxembourg. The position involves:

• Monitoring assigned credit portfolios within designated sectors.
• Evaluating new investment prospects through fundamental credit analysis and preparing reports for the credit committee.
• Supervising assigned credits and advising portfolio managers on necessary actions.
• Participating in lender presentations, earnings calls, and finance conferences both locally and internationally.

Key tasks include constructing and updating financial models, reviewing due diligence and legal documents, and engaging with management teams, banks, consultants, private equity sponsors, and industry experts. The analyst will also draft detailed credit evaluation reports.

Additional duties encompass ESG analysis of existing and prospective investments, assisting with the production of weekly, monthly, and payment reports, updating model portfolios and investor presentations to aid fundraising, maintaining internal ratings databases, executing transaction bookings, and coordinating with external custodians and agents as well as internal teams.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• At least 4 years of credit analysis experience is required.
• Fluency in written and spoken English with strong communication skills to clearly convey complex information.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; Python programming is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of leveraged buyout capital structures and ability to build financial models.
• Company valuation skills and relationship management experience with both sell side and buy side stakeholders are additional benefits.
• BSc or MSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.
• CFA certification or intent to achieve it is favorable.
• Prior FCA Certification role experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• Right to work in the UK or Luxembourg is essential.
