About the Role

Investible is seeking an Investment Analyst to join its Sydney investment team. This position is ideal for someone who takes initiative, enjoys solving problems and wants broad exposure to the full investment journey. You will be supported to take on increasing ownership quickly as your capability grows.

In this role, you will work closely with the investment team and interact directly with founders, investors and high-growth technology companies. The work is highly entrepreneurial and suits someone who is curious, commercially aware and genuinely interested in innovation and venture investing.

You will work across Investible's venture funds and gain exposure to early-stage startups, from pre-seed through Series A, across Australia and selected global markets. The firm is looking for someone committed to building a long-term career in venture capital.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess investment opportunities across a broad mix of startups, sectors and emerging technologies.
• Carry out commercial, market and financial analysis to help inform investment decisions and due diligence.
• Study market shifts, competitor activity and new technologies to surface high-potential opportunities.
• Develop relationships with founders, investors and other important participants in the startup and venture ecosystem.
• Help source and manage the investment pipeline from first contact through to completed investment.
• Support portfolio companies with research, strategic input and introductions to useful networks.
• Track portfolio performance and contribute to investor updates, fund valuation work and investment insights.
• Draft investment memos, recommendations and reports for investment committee and stakeholder review.
• Keep investment records and reporting tools up to date, and contribute to thought leadership across the venture capital community.
