Investigator Support Analyst

Position Overview

One Federal Solution is seeking a skilled Investigator Support Analyst to assist a Government Client by delivering both analytical and operational support for the Law Enforcement Information Management System (LEIMS). This role demands ensuring data accuracy, enabling law enforcement reporting, performing trend examinations, liaising with various stakeholders, and generating analytical products that underpin protective security and law enforcement functions.

Core Responsibilities

• Create and maintain procedural documentation related to law enforcement and protective security incident responses at federal locations.
• Capture, verify, analyze, and produce data-driven reports through the Law Enforcement Information Management System.
• Review regional report submissions to detect compliance issues, content inadequacies, and reporting quality shortcomings.
• Prepare nationwide trend analyses and quarterly summaries from law enforcement and protective security reports.
• Conduct data integrity audits and generate status updates along with executive-level presentations that ensure adherence to policies and standards.
• Deliver security and law enforcement briefings to internal leadership and external entities.
• Act as the headquarters liaison for external agencies on matters concerning law enforcement and protective security reporting.
• Provide LEIMS Help Desk services, including managing user accounts, troubleshooting issues, and assisting users in the field.
• Carry out statistical analyses and reporting using LEIMS data.
• Formulate responses to oversight inquiries from bodies such as GAO, DHS, OMB, and Congressional entities.
• Verify LEIMS information accuracy by resolving conflicts with input from partners both internal and external.
• Collect and document system enhancement requirements for law enforcement and protective security reporting in LEIMS.
• Coordinate Operations and Maintenance efforts alongside the IT Division and contractors.
• Support development and resource planning for future system upgrades.
• Produce reports, presentations, briefing materials, and policies aligned with program goals.
• Collaborate across organizational units to meet mission objectives.
• Handle special projects and additional related tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 8 years of experience in project or program management or equivalent professional roles.
• Minimum 5 years performing analytic and support functions related to law enforcement, investigations, information systems, intelligence, or comparable operational sectors.
• Strong communication abilities in both written and verbal formats.
• Proficient in conducting thorough research and analyzing technical and operational data.
• Capacity to interpret management policies, regulations, and directives clearly.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using collaboration platforms like SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
• Skilled at coordinating with multiple stakeholders and managing enterprise administrative systems.
• Efficient organizer capable of handling meetings, project coordination, and competing priorities.
• Works effectively both independently and as a team member.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Federal law enforcement, homeland security, or protective security initiatives.
• Familiarity with law enforcement information systems akin to LEIMS or similar case management/reporting software.
• Background in statistical analysis and generating trend reports.
• Provision of Help Desk or system administration support.
• Experience crafting executive briefings and responding to oversight agency inquiries.
• Knowledge of reporting requirements related to GAO, DHS, or Congressional bodies.
