Overview
Adaptive HVM is seeking skilled Inventory Specialists to join a team supporting a comprehensive inventory and storage process rollout across multiple European sites for an 18-month period. Selected professionals will travel on assignment through locations including Holland, Germany, Poland, Ireland, Croatia, and the UK, spending up to three months per site while coordinating a critical inventory program.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular physical inventory counts such as cycle counts and full annual stocktakes to verify stock levels.
- Reconcile inventory data with SAP system records, addressing and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain high accuracy in inventory data and assist with audits and reconciliation efforts.
- Handle inventory transactions within SAP, including processing goods receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments, ensuring timely and precise updates.
- Maintain material master data where applicable, and generate detailed inventory reports as needed.
- Manage packaging of inventory items according to company standards, protect materials in storage and transit, and organize inventory locations efficiently.
- Ensure warehouse orderliness using 5S methodologies and assist with the movement of materials within facilities.
- Create and apply barcode labels to inventory items and storage locations, ensuring clear identification and traceability, and support barcode scanning implementation.
- Conduct routine inventory verification, identify excess or obsolete items, and maintain compliance with inventory controls and audit processes.
- Keep accurate documentation and records related to all inventory activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Level 7 degree in Business or Engineering is required.
- Applicants must be EU citizens due to extensive travel and work assignments within various European countries.
- 1-2 years of experience in logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain roles with practical exposure to SAP inventory functions.
Additional Information
This role involves team collaboration within groups of 4-6 personnel. The employer will provide support covering flights, accommodation, and travel expenses, along with daily per diem allowances, besides the salary.
