Job Overview
The International Logistics Management Manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing transportation activities across overseas regions. This includes coordinating international sea, land, and rail shipments along with local distribution resources to ensure timely delivery of finished vehicles and knock-down kits.
Key Duties
- Develop and implement transportation schedules for overseas markets, integrating sea freight, ground transport, railways, and local deliveries.
- Collaborate effectively with overseas sales teams, warehouses, carriers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to guarantee export delivery of vehicles and parts.
- Track shipment progress through critical stages such as port arrival, customs clearance, transshipment, and final distribution to secure on-time delivery performance.
- Respond promptly to issues including transport delays, cargo damage, document inconsistencies, customs challenges, and customer complaints.
- Oversee logistics expenditures by auditing bills, managing supplier account reconciliations, and ensuring accurate settlements.
- Perform data analytics on transportation costs, schedule adherence, delivery punctuality, and incident rates to identify improvement opportunities.
- Assist in optimizing transportation routes, evaluating supplier performance, and enhancing the logistics network to reduce overall chain costs.
- Formulate and maintain transportation operational procedures, standard operating protocols, and documentation standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a bachelor's degree or higher, ideally in Logistics, International Trade, or Supply Chain Management.
- Have a minimum of three years’ experience in international logistics or supply chain management, with preference for automotive finished vehicle or parts shipping experience.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of full chain logistics including sea freight, land transportation, customs clearance, and warehousing; practical overseas exposure is advantageous.
- Exhibit strong data analysis capabilities and be proficient with Excel and ERP/TMS software systems.
- Be fluent in English to conduct work-related communication and possess cross-cultural interpersonal skills.
- Show resilience under pressure and willingness to travel internationally as required.
