Role Overview
This full-time, on-site role based in Doha requires the Interior Designer & Sales professional to engage showroom visitors attentively, understanding their lifestyle choices, style preferences, and budgetary limits, to devise personalized interior design concepts and product recommendations. Responsibilities include creating mood boards and layout proposals, assisting with basic space planning, and guiding clients in selecting furniture, lighting, and accessories consistent with the brand’s luxury identity. The position entails preparing quotes, securing sales, coordinating logistics and installations, and ensuring projects are delivered promptly and accurately. Additionally, the role involves maintaining product knowledge, refreshing showroom displays, collaborating with the interior design team on major projects, and contributing to sales goals through excellent client service.
Candidate Qualifications
- Firm grounding in Interior Design, with applied experience in residential or commercial interiors focusing on furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) selection.
- Skilled in Space Planning with foundational knowledge of Architecture to develop functional and visually appealing designs.
- Competence in reading and generating construction drawings or layout plans for design presentations and coordination.
- Proven sales expertise including needs assessment, product showcasing, upselling, cross-selling, and closing deals within a showroom or studio.
- Strong visual presentation skills with an excellent sense of color, materials, styling, and familiarity with premium or luxury brands.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of thriving in a multicultural, collaborative workplace.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing several client projects and timelines simultaneously.
- Preferably a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related disciplines; experience in luxury interiors or retail highly valued.
- Proficiency with design and presentation software such as AutoCAD and Sketch.
