Information Technology (IT) Administrator

Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable IT professional to join our team at Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth network functionality, resolving technical challenges, and providing user support. This role plays a vital part in sustaining operational effectiveness and upholding cybersecurity measures.

Key Duties

• Oversee and supervise all deployed IT infrastructure components.
• Set up, configure, and service hardware and software systems.
• Diagnose and rectify system and networking issues, addressing both hardware and software malfunctions.
• Implement security measures to protect data integrity, regulate network access, and manage backup solutions.
• Create and manage user profiles, access controls, and passwords.
• Conduct periodic security assessments to detect possible intrusions.
• Develop and keep technical documentation, instructions, and IT-related policies up to date.

Candidate Qualifications

• Possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
• Have a minimum of three years of experience in roles such as IT Administrator or System Administrator, including internships.
• Comprehensive understanding of IT systems, networking principles, hardware, and software management.
• Familiarity with website development coding and maintenance.
• Experience handling firewalls and antivirus tools.
• Strong knowledge of data backup, recovery systems, and security protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
• Proficiency in English language.

Preferred Certifications

• CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certifications.
• Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA).
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
