Job summary
Vistas Global is seeking a seasoned IT Infrastructure Specialist / Engineer to build, run, and improve enterprise infrastructure in both cloud and on-premises setups. The role calls for practical expertise across Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online, virtualization, networking, and storage.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and support infrastructure solutions across Azure, GCP, and on-premises environments.
- Administer cloud services covering compute, databases, storage, and PaaS offerings.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, operating systems, and virtualization platforms.
- Deploy and manage servers, storage platforms, and related infrastructure assets.
- Track infrastructure health and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and networks.
- Set up and support network equipment such as switches, routers, and associated infrastructure.
- Oversee storage systems in both cloud and on-premises environments.
- Maintain Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Online / Microsoft 365, and connected services.
- Draft and keep up-to-date infrastructure documentation, operating procedures, and technical reports.
- Support infrastructure resilience, security, uptime, and business continuity objectives.
- Take part in 24/7 operational coverage and on-call support when needed.
Required profile
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated experience handling enterprise-scale IT infrastructure.
- Hands-on exposure to Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Working knowledge of Windows Server administration.
- Experience with Active Directory administration.
- Exposure to Microsoft Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Basic administration knowledge of SQL Server.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies.
- Experience with enterprise storage solutions.
- Understanding of networking concepts and devices, including switches, routers, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Ability to monitor systems, troubleshoot effectively, and improve performance.
- Strong written documentation and reporting skills.
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Preferred qualifications
- Microsoft Azure certifications.
- Google Cloud certifications.
- VMware or Hyper-V certifications.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Microsoft Windows Server certifications.
Additional information
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar. The role is focused on enterprise infrastructure support across hybrid environments and may require participation in round-the-clock operational support and on-call duties.
