Industrial Services Labourer

Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated labourers for our facility in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. The selected individuals will assist in supporting our fleet of hydro-excavation and line flushing vacuum trucks with thorough in-house training provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment and systems following the established company standards.
• Utilize high-pressure water systems effectively for various tasks.
• Perform hydro-excavation to unearth soil and materials, exposing water and sewer lines requiring repair.
• Flush sewer mains utilizing high-pressure water equipment.
• Clean catch basins regularly to maintain functionality.
• Assist in unloading debris from truck debris tanks safely.
• Carry out routine maintenance and upkeep of vehicles, including greasing and cleaning.
• Comply with all operational procedures to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Participate as needed in a rotational on-call support schedule.
• Perform other operational tasks assigned by the management.

Candidate Requirements

• Willingness and ability to engage in a rotational on-call support schedule.
• Physical capacity to lift equipment or objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Strong collaborative skills with the capability to work independently.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
• Legal authorization to work within Canada.
