About the Role
This permanent leadership position based in Dublin requires a combination of exceptional legal expertise in immigration, strong strategic partner management capabilities, and operational excellence. As the Immigration Partner, you will be the key figure bridging legal services between Irish and US headquarters, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality, unified immigration solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the regional hub as the principal legal authority, aligning all services with corporate standards and strategies.
- Manage and oversee multiple regional co-counsel offices, maintaining strong relationships and enforcing quality standards.
- Coordinate closely with the Operations Lead to schedule regular meetings and communications across locations to synchronize efforts, resolve challenges, and provide legal guidance.
- Monitor compliance with Service Level Agreements and co-counsel contracts actively across all casework.
- Develop and grow corporate client relationships by collaborating with HR leaders, talent teams, and executive stakeholders.
- Handle end-to-end immigration matters in core corporate areas, including preparing and filing petitions and applications accurately and timely.
- Manage a substantial caseload while delivering high-touch client experiences and advising on immigration strategies, risks, and timelines.
- Support practice growth by expanding corporate accounts and collaborating with a network of top attorneys leveraging technology and workflow efficiencies.
- Serve as the primary escalation contact for complex client issues within the hub’s countries, delivering prompt resolutions.
- Lead client communications by preparing legal updates and regional news, ensuring consistency and premium service quality.
- Supervise and approve billing processes for client cases to maintain transparency and compliance with guidelines.
- Maintain strong coordination with US headquarters leadership to report performance, share strategic input, and uphold global legal service consistency.
- Partner with Hub Operations to align legal strategies with administrative and financial execution.
- Drive the use of legal technologies and case management systems, ensuring external partners actively input data and meet deadlines.
- Use data analytics and reports to audit co-counsel performance, identify trends, and address obstacles proactively.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must possess an active and reputable license to practice law in Ireland.
- Extensive experience in complex Irish corporate and private immigration law practice is required; global immigration experience is an advantage.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams of immigration professionals, co-counsel networks, or distributed legal vendor groups.
- Demonstrated skill in managing high-level client escalations and navigating intricate, multi-jurisdictional client relationships.
- Strong comprehension of law firm financials, billing procedures, and operational processes.
- Advanced proficiency with legal technology and case management platforms, with a track record of promoting technology adoption among partners.
