ఉద్యోగ వివరణ
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team onsite in Dallas, TX. This contract role lasts for 6 months with the possibility of extension. The specialist will oversee and maintain all HR functions, with a focus on supporting manufacturing plant operations and employee engagement. The role requires strong knowledge of HR policies, recruitment, employee relations, training, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain regular presence on the plant floor to engage employees and build business acumen.
- Collaborate with business partners to understand workforce challenges and opportunities.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes including job requisition creation, coordination of offers, pre-employment activities, and mandatory reporting.
- Administer employee status changes and HR documentation, partnering with Centers of Excellence for job and compensation changes.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver training programs aligned with HR and OSHA standards.
- Assist with employee relations issues and maintain vendor/supplier communications.
- Oversee absenteeism control programs and monitor leave compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Conduct new hire orientation ensuring clear understanding of policies, regulations, and agreements.
- Support employee recognition initiatives and community activities.
- Perform additional HR duties as assigned.
Skills and Technical Expertise
- Intermediate proficiency in Google Suite applications.
- Proficient navigation of HRIS and related systems such as Workday, ATS, ADP, PeopleSoft, eTime, and others.
- Good grasp of standard HR concepts, employment law, and manufacturing industry procedures.
- Experience with OSHA regulations and reporting requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent problem-solving, confidentiality, and time management abilities.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform tasks requiring sitting, standing, walking, and using hands to handle or feel objects and controls.
- Capable of reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders or stairs, and occasional balancing or crawling.
- Must have visual acuity including close and peripheral vision, depth perception, and color differentiation.
- Regular lifting or moving up to 10 pounds.
- Must be able to communicate orally and aurally for interpersonal and technological communications.
Education and Experience
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred. Candidates should have at least 2 years of HR experience, with manufacturing environment experience being advantageous.

Additional Information
Compensation is $35 per hour. The position is located onsite at 2020 Singleton Blvd, Dallas, TX 75212. Benefits include various insurance plans, short-term disability, and 401K availability, subject to eligibility.
