Job Overview
The Human Resources Manager will lead and oversee all HR functions by formulating and executing strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational goals. This role encompasses managing employee relations, payroll, recruitment, performance management, organizational growth, and day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee employee relations, addressing HR matters including engagement activities, grievances, disciplinary issues, and resolving conflicts.
- Maintain comprehensive employee records with accurate documentation of HR processes.
- Administer attendance, leave management, and all phases of the employee lifecycle.
- Execute the monthly payroll process with precision and timeliness.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, applicable labor laws, and statutory mandates.
- Direct recruiting efforts including sourcing, interviewing, selecting, and onboarding new hires to meet workforce needs.
- Develop and refine HR policies and procedures, ensuring ongoing compliance and alignment with internal guidelines.
- Provide expert guidance to managers and staff on HR policies and best practices.
- Facilitate performance management activities through reviews and employee development planning.
- Participate in organizational development initiatives aimed at boosting employee effectiveness and overall business success.
- Generate regular HR reports and workforce analytics to inform management decisions.
- Drive continuous enhancements in HR operations to improve employee experience and operational efficiency.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional HR certifications such as SHRM, CIPD, PHR, or SPHR are advantageous.
Experience Criteria
- At least 10 years of progressive experience within Human Resources roles.
- Demonstrated capability in managing diverse HR functions within manufacturing, industrial, or multi-location environments preferred.
- Solid expertise in payroll management, employee relations, recruitment, performance evaluation, and comprehensive HR operations.
Technical Skills & Competencies
- Deep understanding of HR management and relevant employment legislation.
- Proficiency in payroll processing and human resource administrative tasks.
- Familiarity with performance management systems, organizational development, and strategic workforce planning.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience working with HRIS or ERP platforms is a plus.
