About the Role
Our client is a top-tier construction and infrastructure company operating extensively throughout Ireland, the UK, and Europe. With ongoing business growth, they require a seasoned Human Resources Director to oversee core HR delivery and spearhead workforce initiatives across their multi-regional operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct report to the Chief People Officer (CPO).
- Manage HR services and delivery across Ireland, the UK, and Europe from a Dublin base.
- Lead a team of three HR professionals.
- Oversee comprehensive HR functions including employee relations, performance management, talent and succession strategies, reward schemes, HR operations, and HR information systems—excluding learning & development and talent acquisition.
- Implement and manage HR programs hands-on ensuring practical, scalable outcomes.
- Drive system adoption and data utilization to enhance HR efficiency.
- Support organizational change efforts in a growing multi-site business environment.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience in core HR disciplines such as employee relations, performance management, talent and succession planning, rewards, HR operations, and HRIS.
- Proven leadership managing HR teams across multiple locations or divisions.
- Solid understanding of employment legislation with demonstrated ability to improve HR processes.
- Preferably experienced in construction, engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing, telecommunications, or other project-driven sectors.
- Familiarity with European employment laws and HRIS implementation is advantageous.
