Job Overview

The Human Resources Department at Zayed University is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner responsible for driving HR initiatives aligned with the university's strategic goals, enhancing organizational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and institutional policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Align HR strategies with business units' objectives and operational needs to bolster overall institutional performance.
• Lead HR initiatives such as talent and change management, workforce planning to support business unit goals.
• Advise department leaders on workforce planning, organizational structure, and other HR dimensions.
• Guide performance management processes, including setting objectives, appraisals, and Individual Development Plans.
• Collaborate with Organizational Development and Training to identify talent growth opportunities.
• Address employee relations, ensuring fair resolutions adhering to HR policies.
• Maintain compliance with labor laws and institutional frameworks across all HR activities.
• Serve as intermediary between employees and HR to facilitate clear communication and timely support.
• Engage in succession planning and identify high-potential personnel for leadership development.
• Coordinate with recruitment and Emiratization teams on role requirements and candidate selection to align with business needs.
• Execute additional tasks as delegated by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of relevant human resources experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certification in Hay Salary methodology is mandatory.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages.
• Willingness to travel between Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
• Preferred: Experience within an academic institution.
