About the Role
Our client, an expanding company in the energy sector located in Dublin 8, is seeking a dedicated HR Business Partner. This full-time position requires four days onsite with one day working remotely. You will join a small HR team and report directly to the HR Director. This is a unique opportunity to establish foundational HR processes and shape the future HR approach within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire recruitment cycle, collaborating closely with hiring managers to define roles, source candidates, conduct interviews, and facilitate onboarding.
- Manage employee relations cases autonomously, including conducting investigations, handling disciplinary actions and grievances, while mentoring managers throughout the process.
- Assist managers in implementing performance improvement plans and establishing an effective performance management framework.
- Serve as the main HR contact for people managers addressing daily HR matters.
- Maintain accurate employee records within the HR information system.
- Develop and revise HR policies ensuring compliance with Irish employment laws and proactively highlighting potential risk areas.
- Administer employee benefits programs and respond to employee inquiries related to them.
- Participate in salary benchmarking activities and support the development of job architecture in preparation for pay transparency standards.
- Support initiatives related to employee engagement, learning and development, and diversity and inclusion.
- Produce HR reports and metrics for senior leadership and contribute to organizational change projects.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Extensive practical experience as an HR generalist, demonstrating the ability to independently manage full-cycle recruitment, handle employee relations cases comprehensively, and engage in performance management initiatives.
- Proven capability to thrive within a small HR team environment without extensive departmental support.
- Exhibit strong initiative, sound judgment, and the confidence to proactively address emerging HR issues.
- Adaptable in balancing hands-on responsibilities with strategic conversations during the workday.
- Effective at interacting with and influencing senior leadership teams.
Compensation and Benefits
The remuneration package ranges from €55,000 to €65,000 annually, depending on prior experience, supplemented by additional employee benefits.
