ఉద్యోగ వివరణ

Role overview

An international engineering consultancy is looking for a Housing and Settlement Expert to support a building construction and land and water transport infrastructure project in East Africa, Rwanda.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Housing Development, Urban Planning, Architecture, or a closely related discipline.

Experience

At least 10 years of hands-on experience in housing development, settlement planning, or infrastructure-related projects.
Minimum 5 years spent in a senior advisory or leadership capacity focused on housing strategy.
Practical background in housing programmes, resettlement schemes, and community-led settlement initiatives.
Strong exposure to policy formulation, feasibility assessments, and aligning housing initiatives with wider urban development plans.
Experience working with stakeholders, facilitating community participation, and supporting capacity-building activities for housing and settlement work.
Previous involvement in donor-funded projects is highly preferred.
