Job Overview and Responsibilities

• Collect your assignment sheet from the Housekeeping office daily.
• Note all guest requests and instructions communicated by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Participate actively in section communication meetings.
• Ensure that the trolley is properly stocked with guest amenities, cleaning supplies, minibar items, and clean linens before beginning work.
• Identify and record all rooms marked with a MAKE UP sign.
• Verify and log all rooms displaying a “Do Not Disturb” sign before shift end and honor their privacy.
• Oversee the closing procedures of the service area at the end of the day, making sure all equipment is correctly stored and the area is free of hazards.
• Relay pertinent information at shift end to the incoming staff or supervisor to ensure smooth ongoing operations.
• Immediately report any exposed guest valuables to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Adhere to Key Issue No.1 by promptly acknowledging and greeting guests with eye contact and professionalism, prioritizing guest interaction above all else during service.
• Comply with hospitality protocols, especially when entering and exiting guest rooms (Key No.3).
• Thoroughly clean bathrooms and bathtubs, checking for hair or debris, replenish towels and amenities, and report maintenance issues.
• Remove wilted flowers, clean vases, and replace with fresh flowers.
• Prepare the bed, clean the bedroom, and replenish stationery, matches, and minibar items, ensuring all linens are spotless and free from hairs or stains.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience performing the same role within a 4- to 5-star hotel environment.
