Job Summary

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for ensuring cleanliness and hygiene across the club areas, maintaining them according to established standards. This role involves performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks, supporting the overall environment for members and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diverse cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing to uphold a neat and welcoming environment.
• Ensure cleanliness of all assigned zones adheres to the club's set criteria.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks, accurately documenting any issues or repair needs, and promptly informing management.
• Handle heavy cleaning assignments and specific projects as delegated, ensuring timely and effective completion.
• Maintain organization of supply storage areas, ensuring cleaning materials and equipment are properly stored and available when required.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines related to the use and disposal of cleaning chemicals and waste.
• Provide polite and professional assistance to members and visitors for any inquiries or requests.
• Work collaboratively with team members to sustain high standards of hygiene throughout the club.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
• Excellent organizational capabilities to maintain orderly and clean environments across multiple areas.
• Basic understanding of cleaning methods and equipment usage.
• Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform demanding tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with members and visitors.
• Ability to read and write in English to report work-related issues accurately.
• Willingness to work in different shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
