Housekeeping Assistant

Role Overview

We are seeking a diligent and dependable Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant to join our team at Watermeadow Grange, a distinguished care home in Topsham, Exeter. This facility features 86 spacious ensuite bedrooms and includes a dedicated community for individuals living with dementia. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home, ensuring all furnishings, equipment, and linen meet stringent safety and cleanliness standards.

Work Hours and Compensation

• Full-time position with 40 hours per week, inclusive of alternate weekend shifts.
• Hourly wage of 312.80 plus comprehensive company benefits.
• Uniform provided and paid DBS checks included.

• Physically and medically capable of performing all duties, with or without aid.
• Exhibits compassion and a caring mindset.

• Demonstrates the ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry within a residential care environment is preferred.
