Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a courteous and efficient customer service approach with clients, guests, and team members, adapting to their needs effectively.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitary conditions in all assigned ancillary areas, corridors, and department zones, promoting safety and health in accordance with departmental standards.
• Apply appropriate cleaning methods as guided by training and supervisor instructions.
• Operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning agents safely and efficiently under supervision.
• Perform disinfection and sterilization of equipment and supplies using required germicides and sterilizing tools.
• Adhere strictly to universal safety precautions, especially in handling and disposing of trash and biohazardous materials.
• Maintain cleaning carts stocked with correct equipment and supplies, verify proper chemical labeling, and ensure equipment functionality.
• Foster positive professional relationships both within and across departments.
• Contribute to improved productivity and operational efficiency in the housekeeping department.
• Commit to ongoing professional development through completion of required training activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
• Effective communication skills with clients, management, and support staff.
• Ability to respond proactively to evolving workplace demands.
• Physical capability for tasks involving lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing or walking.
• Willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment as required.
