Job Overview

We are looking for a Home Delivery Driver to join our team in Durham, England, acting as the face of Iceland Foods. This role involves delivering groceries, engaging with customers directly, and ensuring safe, efficient transport of goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Load the delivery van safely, including heavy lifting and proper manual handling techniques.
• Drive responsibly following all road safety guidelines.
• Perform routine checks on the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Ensure food items are delivered in excellent condition to customers.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and support.
• Assist in-store tasks when needed.
• Work independently while managing your schedule effectively.
• Be flexible to work varying shifts within the 6am to 11pm timeframe.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full driving license held for at least three years with a clean driving record (no more than six penalty points).
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, friendliness, and commitment to excellent customer care.
• Be punctual and able to meet deadlines reliably.
• Maintain a strong consciousness of road safety at all times.
