Role Summary

We seek highly skilled helicopter pilots who prioritize flight safety while delivering exceptional tour experiences. Successful candidates will enjoy working in a transparent environment supported by management that encourages conservative safety decisions.

Responsibilities

• Operate aircraft in compliance with FARs, company procedures, operational specifications, and approved Aircraft Flight Manuals (AFM).
• Ensure mandatory equipment and documentation are onboard including aircraft registration, airworthiness certificate, AFM, daily logbook, General Operations Manual, sectional aeronautical charts, briefing cards, safety equipment (first aid kits, fire extinguishers, airsickness bags, life jackets), and required night flight equipment.
• Verify aircraft maintenance logs for up-to-date inspections and that prior mechanical issues are resolved.
• Confirm aircraft airworthiness and proper preflight procedures are conducted according to AFM and company policy.
• Ensure aircraft loading adheres to center of gravity and maximum gross weight limits for safe takeoff and landing.
• Monitor current weather, NOTAMS, PIREPs, and all relevant flight information prior to departure.
• Brief passengers on boarding, in-flight protocols, deplaning, and emergency procedures.
• File company or FAA flight plans for all flight categories, including test, ferry, and training flights.
• Always carry valid FAA Airline Transport or Commercial Pilot Certificate, current Class I or II Medical Certificate, and government-issued ID during flights.
• Maintain currency with flight checks by approved examiners within the past 12 months for assigned aircraft type.
• Adhere to regular attendance schedules and be prepared to travel approximately 70% of the time as required by operational needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2,500 hours as Pilot-in-Command, verifiable and documented.
• At least 1,000 hours logged on turbine helicopters.
• Possession of a Commercial-instrument Helicopter Rating is required.
• Effective communication skills coupled with exceptional customer service orientation.
• Strong organizational capabilities to manage concurrent projects efficiently.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic work environment.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Additional Requirements

• Clearance from TSA/FBI background checks.
• Participation in the FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.
• Capability to operate safely in extreme temperature conditions.
• Physical ability to regularly lift up to 35 pounds and to bend, stoop, and reach above shoulders.

Compensation & Benefits

This full-time position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 120,000. Additional details on comprehensive benefits are available upon inquiry.
