Overview
We invite dedicated candidates to express interest in the role of Hearing Care Specialist within our pioneering Virtual Care team. Situated in the Virtual Care Hub in Rosedale, Auckland, this role requires full onsite attendance five days a week. It offers a dynamic environment to manage multiple priorities, resolve operational challenges, and enhance both client service and business outcomes.
Role Summary
As a Hearing Care Specialist focused on Virtual Care, you will be integral to the daily operation of our service. Your collaborative efforts with clinicians, clinics, finance, insurers, and external partners will be vital to optimizing clinician scheduling, managing client appointments, handling insurance processes, and driving continuous operational enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently coordinate and manage Virtual Care appointments along with clinician schedules.
- Adapt to shifting service demands while supporting clinicians' scheduling needs.
- Handle insurance-related administration including claim submissions, quotes, trials, and liaising with insurers.
- Assist with invoice processing and the reconciliation of insurance payments.
- Oversee Virtual Care inventory, including stock management and the web shop's product supplies.
- Contribute to business initiatives aimed at process improvements and operational projects.
- Ensure clients receive exceptional experiences when accessing Virtual Care services.
Candidate Profile
- Possess strong organisational and scheduling capabilities.
- Demonstrate a customer-centric approach and commitment to service quality.
- Exhibit keen attention to detail with proficient problem-solving skills.
- Be comfortable managing systems, data, client records, and invoices.
- Show proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Word.
- Effectively handle competing priorities in a fast-paced, demand-oriented environment.
- Previous experience in clinic administration, audiology support, insurance handling, or with Gensolve software is advantageous but not mandatory.
