Opportunity Overview
Join the NHS Golden Jubilee University National Hospital in Clydebank, a key centre for Regional and National Heart and Lung services and orthopaedics, also assisting other Boards in reducing diagnostic imaging wait times. The Radiology department is expanding and seeks motivated Healthcare Support Workers to enhance patient care and support Radiographers in delivering imaging services.
Role Details
You will play a vital role in ensuring excellent patient experiences, managing patient flow, and assisting Radiographers with quality imaging delivery. The department offers operations over 5 days with extended hours, allowing for a compact workweek. Both full-time and part-time employment options are available.
Candidate Requirements
A strong commitment to patient care and proficient computer skills are essential. Experience in cannulation or venepuncture is beneficial but not mandatory, as training will be provided. Although prior radiology experience is preferred, it is not a requirement. The department supports ongoing professional development through SVQ qualifications for Healthcare Support Workers.
