Role Overview

We are seeking a Head of Engineering to report directly to the CTO and Co-Founder. This hands-on leadership position requires you to lead growth and scale of our engineering teams while maintaining a strong builder culture. You will influence product strategy, contribute to code, and review critical pull requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and execute the technical vision aligned with company objectives.
• Ensure delivery excellence by balancing rapid shipping with high product quality, establishing efficient but lightweight engineering processes suitable for both software and vertical AI teams.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and management of a diverse group of individual contributors and team leads, cultivating a collaborative and fast-paced engineering culture.
• Remain actively involved in coding, system design, and critical code reviews.

Requirements

• Over a decade of professional software engineering experience, including at least three years managing multiple teams in high-growth startup environments.
• A demonstrated ability to scale engineering organizations from inception through growth phases in data-intensive, vertical AI contexts.
• Strong and adaptable technical expertise across full-stack development, ETL pipelines, AI, and distributed systems.
• Comfort with deep technical analysis across complex technology stacks.
• Proven success fostering inclusive, high-performing engineering cultures that attract and retain top-tier talent.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range of $220,000 to $280,000.
