About The Role

The Brewyard is a specialty coffee café brand located in Pune, Maharashtra, with outlets in Bibvewadi and Law College Road. Known for quality-centric café hospitality, the brand seeks a Head Chef to lead and manage all kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of kitchen management including menu development and refinement.
• Standardize recipes and perform portion costing for menu items.
• Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain performance standards.
• Manage procurement processes and maintain vendor relationships to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Oversee inventory control and minimize wastage to optimize costs.
• Ensure consistent food quality and plating standards throughout service.
• Strictly enforce hygiene standards and compliances including FSSAI, HACCP, and GHP-GMP protocols throughout the kitchen environment.
• Collaborate closely with the ownership team on new menu creation, launch strategies, and cost and margin management.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of four years’ experience in a similar head chef or kitchen leadership role, preferably within a specialty café or food and beverage setting.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience in kitchen planning and team management.
