Primary Duties

• Carry out tasks according to established standards and the building's operational timetable.
• Perform cleaning of rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, staircases, and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors within sales and seating areas.
• Frequently inspect and empty trash containers throughout all site areas.
• Aggregate and sort recyclables into designated receptacles.
• Clean glass surfaces including windows and mirrors; polish stainless-steel fixtures.
• Dust fixtures, shelves, and merchandise as necessary.
• Ensure customer and employee restrooms are clean and well-maintained.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities as required.
• Operate and sanitize maintenance equipment safely and correctly.
• Comply with health and sanitation protocols and follow safe working procedures.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors, and sills.
• Perform minor repairs including carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing tasks.
• Apply touch-up and finish painting as needed.
• Empty wastebaskets and replenish restroom supplies.
• Replace light bulbs as necessary.
• Set up and dismantle chairs, tables, and equipment in meeting and function rooms.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and report completed work daily to supervisors.

Candidate Qualifications

• Effective communication skills with customers and supervisors.
• Ability to read and understand documents such as safety instructions, operating manuals, and chemical handling guidelines, generally in English, with possible Spanish language support as required by law.
• Critical thinking ability to multitask and balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in building maintenance.
• Willingness to use the KBSPresence mobile app for clocking in/out and required to download it onto a personal mobile device; reimbursement provided per local regulations.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting wage is $16.39 per hour. Employees working 30+ hours weekly qualify for comprehensive benefits including:
